Trolls, Monsters, and War is a ChatGPT-native tactical RPG. You play as a warlord trying to survive and dominate in a war-torn world filled with monsters, enemy lords, and ancient magic..

It’s like D&D meets Total War.  Played turn-by-turn through pure storytelling inside ChatGPT.

No downloads.

No dice.

Just you, the AI, and the war you choose to write.

• Grid-based map conquest (20x20 tactical hex or tile grid)
• Combat with monsters, enemy Lords, and corrupted Vaults

How It Works:

• This is a fully playable system built for ChatGPT (or other AI models). It uses menus, stat tracking, and narration prompts to create a living war-story that adapts to your decisions.
• Start with a pre-made prompt, choose actions, and watch your world evolve.

• Free Demo: Works with GPT-3.5 using the TMW Lite version included

Development:

I understand if AI isn't your thing. I just wanted to share something personal I spent a lot of time and care building. I used ChatGPT to help clarify and finish what had been an unfinished dream for years. Not to replace the work, but to finally complete it.

I built this game to test how far we can take AI-powered storytelling. It's designed to evolve and I'm actively adding new mechanics and lore packs. It takes limitations of the LLMs and turns them into thematic strengths.
